NON-DESTRUCTIVE TESTING

Radiographic Testing - GNDT’s self-contained mobile units are fully stocked and equipped to provide onsite RT services anywhere required. GNDT exercises special care when providing RT services to ensure the safety and protection of all GNDT employees, customers, and the general public. We follow strict rules and guidelines as established in our Operating & Emergency Procedure Manual, as well as following all required State and Federal guidelines for radiation safety.

Ultrasonic Testing - GNDT utilizes the latest equipment and technology to perform ultrasonic testing. We perform Conventional UT, Phased Array UT, and Thickness / Mechanical Integrity Surveys as required. We have special programs to run thickness calculations to provide MAWP calcs on pressure vessels, as well as establishing an inspection timeline based on original and current thicknesses found.

Magnetic Particle Testing - GNDT provides MT utilizing coils or yokes with wet, dry, or fluorescent particle as required.

Liquid Penetrant Testing - GBDT provides PT utilizing visible or fluorescent penetrant as required.

Positive Material Identification - GNDT provides PMI for the identification / verification of materials as required. We can provide C, P, and S to differentiate various grades of carbon steel.

Hardness Testing - GNDT provides both laboratory and portable HT services. We can perform HT in Vickers, Knoop, Brinell, and Rockwell B & C modes.

Leak Testing - GNDT provide vacuum leak testing on storage tanks as required by API 650/653.

ALL GNDT PERSONNEL ARE TRAINED AND CERTIFIED IN ACCORDANCE WITH ASNT “SNT-TC-1A” FOR ALL METHODS LISTED ABOVE
